James Marriott

Following the release of his 2025 UK #1 album Don’t Tell The Dog, everything points to Brighton’s charismatic indie-pop artist James Marriott rising to the next level as he surpasses 40,000 live show tickets sold so far this year.

‘Don’t Tell The Dog’ is an album in which James confronts a myriad spectrum of neuroses, uncertainties and self-defeating thought processes. But as an artist who loves a striking contrast, they’re woven into songs primarily built for joyous, anthemic singalongs and boisterous live energy.

A post-release run of album signing sessions across the UK which could well be the last time fans can catch him in such small venues. James’s live show has expanded globally, rapidly going from a small home town debut in Brighton in 2022 to opening the main stage at the Reading Festival within a year. He continues this rise with a massive year of touring ahead of him. The upgraded autumn sold-out-UK leg of the tour now features two sold out nights at London’s Roundhouse; his previous run of sold-out North American shows meant he was quickly booked for a longer run in September and October plus several European shows have also been upgraded to bigger venues.
